Re: Break in Method V6

All auto makers do some type of engine break in during assembly. Your aren't getting an engine that has never been started or run before.

Re: Custom POI Loads for 430N

Yes. You can even view map, then hide it and you will still be notified. For the Phantom Alert POIs I setup for my wife, she is notified by a beep when the map is hidden. When it isn't you see and...

Re: Custom POI Loads for 430N

Red light camera POIs usually have to be purchased. I looked for freebies for my wife and couldn't find any. I went with a lifetime subscription to Phantom Alert (http://www.phantomalert.com/). ...

Re: Booster Seat Warning!

Technically, the middle seat doesn't really have anchors. If you read through the manuals for the WK, WK2 and your booster or car seat, you will find that they don't recommend or even mention using...

Re: Booster Seat Warning!

We use a Graco high back booster seat for our son. It doesn't have any anchors and just sits on the rear seat. Basically the upper seat belt guide helps keep the booster seat in place. I did tilt...

Re: Lease or Buy... Help me decide

I'm sure others will agree or disagree with me, but I would never put money down on a lease. With a lease you have top worry about mileage and any damage to the vehicle. Depending on who the lease...

Re: Front Window Tint- Am I being to picky?

Yes. And final fit and trim is done with the tint on the inside. The rubber window trim needs to be taped back or the door trim removed to make room for proper fitment. Also, if the tinter is...

Re: Front Window Tint- Am I being to picky?

Your tinter did a crap job. The curve in the tint should be unseen, under the window trim. The curved cut is used to keep the tint from curling, so that is normal. Basically your tinter failed to...

Re: Recommendation on how to fix a paint chip? already :(

Any pics? If you see silver on a black car, you've gone down to the sheet metal. It will rust if not properly taken care of.

Re: Lockout

Most people with younger kids use them. My wife and I do in both our vehicles. It is an added safety measure to keep them from opening the doors while moving, if they are not locked.
