Sounds like something very similar started happening to mine today. Completely silent at idle, but as soon as you start moving it starts grinding.

That's exactly how it should work. Only the driver side seat heats up with the remote start ( which makes my girl compain every time it's cold and only my seat is warm:D)

Well the turning off and on is not working anymore, so there has to be something else.
