Re: Huge Problem - Jeep only moves in Low

Sounds almost identical to my WK which lost the tranny. Repair for the tranny was like $4700.00. Limped it to another dealer, juiced it up with tranny fluid and traded it.

It was gonna be...

Re: 04' WJ Driver Window Switch

I'm going through a similar issue with the wife's 04 Special Edition. Driver's window is stuck down about 1/2" and can't control any windows. Also RKE doesn't work unless you are up on the...

Re: take a pic of your truck/car/boat/ride right now!!!

I too wanted a diesel, but just not currently available in the GM line. BTW: Dodge lost the Cummin's contract with the bailout, guess who has it in 2011? Yep, its Ford. Ford is also dumping the...

Re: take a pic of your truck/car/boat/ride right now!!!

I wish!!! I looked for a Duramax/Allison combo in a 3-state area with the options I wanted and turned up ZERO! GM is not stocking lots until they sell what is out there. This one has the 417 horse...

Re: WK Plastic Interior Cleaning!

Mopar Satin Select Cleaner - Item # 5174395AA (http://www.justforjeeps.com/mosase.html)

I use it exclusively on plastic as it is not shiny and has UV protectants in it.

Re: Transmission/Radiator failure

Now I have a truck that *almost* cost as much as my bike:

Re: Transmission/Radiator failure

Their looking into it... They believe that the radiator failed inside causing it to suck all the fluid out of the tranny and into the cooling system. My guess it that it will not be covered as it is...

Re: Transmission/Radiator failure

That's too funny! Seriously, this truck is so tall the step is pretty much required to get in the bed.

Re: Transmission/Radiator failure

Sorry for the rant... I'm just seriously p*ssed off. I mean a truck I've had almost 5 years with a significant investment and 10,500 actual miles, come'on... Never again...

The wife's '04 Special...

Transmission/Radiator failure

Well, It's a 2005 SRT8 conversion with every factory option which I have driven very little and it lost the tranny at 10,512 miles.

Needless to say, I'm done with Chrysler products and have been...

I would be interested in seeing any installation pics. I would like to add one to the WK. I was looking at the pure sine wave models, for utility grade power as I would more than likely be powering...

D/C to A/C Power Inverter

I was at the stealership today and noticed an 08 WK had a DC-AC Power Inverter with the power plug integrated into the rear of the center console.

Has anyone added one to their vehicle yet? ...

Re: Mopar Kicker Upgrade

Door speakers, tweets and amp on the way. Will order the sub box when I bank some more money for this project.

The WK turned 10K miles today.

Re: Remote Starter

I have the Mopar starter and have no issues with it. Was a fairly easy install if I remember right. Range-wise I can start and stop if from about 150+ feet with no issues.

Re: Mopar Kicker Upgrade

I'm glad so many of you audiophiles exist, because I know very little about audio other than the basics.

I'm guessing I'd probably go with the dual 10" option offered by Kicker/Mopar... Don't haul...

Re: Mopar Kicker Upgrade

Is it really worth it to go the dual sub route or just the single? I too like the idea of plug-n-play with no cutting wires and aftermarket hokey looking. It seems a little spendy, but I may be...

Re: How long you keeping your jeep

I just did a NADA on my 2005 WK with all the options and only 10K miles on the clock and seen that it is only worth $16K!!! Augh! Hell I've got more than that into Mopar Parts alone!

Re: Oem remote start: Worth it?

I have it installed in my WK. Fairly easy to do... The worst part was probably tapping the tach wire into the coil pack. Works well! I did upgrade to the two-way remotes and sends a signal back to...

Re: Dual color LED Parking/turn light

I like it! Did it require a load equalizer as well? Where does a guy pick up a pair? Are you at liberty to share the price and the vendor?

Thanks!

Mopar Kicker Upgrade

Okay, here is my dilemma... I'm contemplating doing the Mopar Kicker upgrade in my 2005 GC.

I'm a little confused on the parts selection. I believe that it has the factory Boston Acoustics...

Re: Scottina06-a photographic history of sorts-Laredo---SRT

I did mine, at dealer cost 2-years ago it was like $272 per window. There is no way to save the old glass and the only way to remove it is to bust it out. I kid you not. It was a messy, painful...

Re: Do you want SRT8 look mirrors...but not the $800 pricetag?

Scott, did you ever get the auto-dim wired up in the drivers mirror? I've been thinking about it, but if memory serves me right we'd have to run a wire from the rear-view mirror harness to the door...

Re: Spray paint removal.

Easy... You can try wax and grease remover if it is still fresh... If not get some lacquer thinner and put on a rag and wipe it off.

Lacquer thinner will not affect base coat/clear coat finishes...

Re: Do you want SRT8 look mirrors...but not the $800 pricetag?

I have this set fully peeled and primed ready for paint. I would not...

Re: Do you want SRT8 look mirrors...but not the $800 pricetag?

I think I have 2-3 sets of the exact covers that Scott purchased which are a very high quality chrome plate that I would be willing to part with... If anyone is interested, please PM me. I will try...
