Don't understand the reference to transmission oil? Surely it's the fluid which makes that reference strange?
Also the fluid (oil) costs seem very cheap for ATF+4. I wonder what brand that put in?...

To close thread the issue was the condenser, had two leaks but not apparent with the naked eye.

Looks like the AC condenser has taking a hit. The want $1100 for the oem here in Aus. I have gone for an non-oem part for $380.

Guys don't break a AC condenser, Jeep AUS wanted $1100 for the part, got the repairer to use non-OEM for $380. I pretty sure Jeep doesn't manufacture AC condensers..

I have discovered that reference isn't accurate for the Export Diesel model which I have.

This is and it identifies K2 as the Clutch Compressor Relay.

After swapping the relays the issue...

The HVAC in my MY12 has stopped working. It also it making a new sound separate to the fan, sounds like a PC HDD.

I have read here that the noise issue could be related to a the blower motor...

Yes, clearance could be an issue, only one way to find out.

Ok, better than I thought and should provide a reasonable basis. Obviously the full proof measure is an assessment of the active additive left in the oil.

I would be somewhat cautious about relying solely on the oil light as a means to prompt oil changes.

I have a WK2 with a W5A580 (NAG1) (722.6). Looking at dropping the pan for its first service to remove metal deposits and for fluid replacement (60K).

The base pan doesn't come with a drain and...

Update, no codes as of yet. Confirm not from the US, the extra sensor you guys have to deal with would explains your problems. I was thinking it was a software metric.

Anybody completed there own transmission fluid change yet? I know in some guides its fill for life but looking at a lot of Mercedes Benz forums concerning the 722.6 there is a strong recommendation...
