Re: User Poll: BFG AT KO2 or DuraTracs on Quadralift & stock 20's

Wrong. The 275-55-20 AT Ko2's fit the stock rims without rubbing or issue. As do almost every other tire in that size.
Source: Personally been using them for 3 months

Re: 275-55-20 BFG T/A KO2 on stock rims

Hey no problem. And to better sell your case to your better half... I feel much safer on these than the stock tires. They stop sooner in inclement weather, and grip harder, in almost all situations....

Re: 275-55-20 BFG T/A KO2 on stock rims

Tire salesman told me that 275/55-20 would not fit my Jeep, and he rolled one out next to it on stock tires, and told me "See, looks too big doesn't it?"

They also told me it would tear my bumper...

Re: 275-55-20 BFG T/A KO2 on stock rims

The ride quality got better, in my opinion. There's more rubber between you and the road, which to me = less impact on potholes/road bumps.

I've run these tires to 105mph without issue, ride...

Re: 275-55-20 BFG T/A KO2 on stock rims

Nope, not yet anyway.

I've put it through some major bumps and hilly fields without issue. Mostly at normal ride height or aero height day to day, (OR1 when off-road/in snow) and rarely ever OR2....

Re: 275-55-20 BFG T/A KO2 on stock rims

I would assume that the stock ride height is close to or the same as "standard ride height" with QL, but I could be majorly wrong.

We venture up there a couple times a year. Absolutely love the...

Talking Re: 275-55-20 BFG T/A KO2 on stock rims

Thanks man! To my knowledge yes they will fit. Assuming you have QL or no?

Took them on a mostly highway trip to northern Michigan last week, about 10 hours each way.
They handled the drive...

Cool Re: 275-55-20 BFG T/A KO2 on stock rims

Got to test them out on the highway pretty extensively today. I can say they definitely feel a tiny bit less connected with the road than the Forteras did, but in the bumps and potholes, that's a...

Re: 275-55-20 BFG T/A KO2 on stock rims

No lift, and this was at Off-road level 1, which I tend to find myself riding around town at this level more and more. I'll get some better pictures shortly at different levels. So far, loving the...

Talking 275-55-20 BFG T/A KO2 on stock rims

So, I finally made it over to the local Discount Tire today, and purchased a set of 4 BFG T/A KO2's in 275-55-20. The stock Fortera's were mostly bald at 42,000 miles... but oh well. I wanted a...

Surprised we haven't seen a TSB for this yet. The temps outside are getting colder, and if the a/c doesn't work when it's remote started, I imagine the heat won't either. Not gonna be fun in winter!...

Ya, that kind of sucks, I may just have to find a set of 18" stock size rims and go with a set of stock size AT tires to go with. That is, if there's no way to adjust the speedo correctly.
