Re: Anyone tuned a CRD yet?

Will need to check but I think it is 2/2 or 2/1. Only thing is that at that setting it sets off the ETC warning light under heavy acceleration.

Re: Anyone tuned a CRD yet?

Yep. I removed it just after that to compare and after a shorter run on the highway this week am only averaging around the 9.0. A lot more town driving though so not a true comparison but I think...

Re: Rattles not covered by warranty (Aus)???

Haven't had mine turned up that loud but it is the door trims on mine that rub when I go over rough roads. I think the noise is from the trims/plastics rubbing against each other.

Re: Anyone tuned a CRD yet?

I did a run up the highway to Iluka last weekend and by the time I got back had averaged 8.0l/100 with cruise on 110 most of the way. That was averaged with a week of town driving the week before,...

They must put in a bit of extra effort for the Overland :D.

Rattles not covered by warranty (Aus)???

My car has started to develop an annoying rattle. I dropped it off to my Jeep dealer last week to ask if they could fix it and the service guy told me that rattles aren't covered by warranty. They...

Re: 2012 CRD Laredo Trade-in value in Oz

Yeah, I read about that. I think it is pretty isolated and not a concern if you keep an eye on your oil level. I have also read that even if the oil level does get high it shouldn't cause any...

Re: 2012 CRD Laredo Trade-in value in Oz

Because the car is through my business it is sold with a tax invoice so the stealership still gets to claim the gst. As a trade I would have been happy with $45k but $32....c'mon!

Like you guys...

2012 CRD Laredo Trade-in value in Oz

Although I love my GC I do find it a pretty big car so I have been exploring my options of whether to downsize to something smaller. A few weeks ago I took the opportunity of test driving a CX-5...

Re: Anything similar to "Street Cherokee" wheels??

The overland wheels in a wider than stock wheel would be good. Has anyone seen any reps that are wider than the stock 20x8?? Just trying to get that wider stance.

Re: Anything similar to "Street Cherokee" wheels??

Yeah, they are similar but a narrower spoke. These just seem to look a bit more aggressive with a wider, chunkier spoke.

Has anyone seen any rims that look similar to the Jeep "Street" Cherokee??

Re: Anyone tuned a CRD yet?

I would love to say NO lag but there is still a minor lack of "instant takeoff" from a standing start until it starts building revs. There is a big improvement though. Rolling starts at...

Re: Anyone tuned a CRD yet?

I guess it depends on what you are expecting out of it. For me the lag and lack of go when starting off in 1st gear was driving me crazy, to the point where I was ready to sell the car. On the...

Re: Anyone tuned a CRD yet?

Have finally settled on setting 3/2 with the RCP and am quite happy. Gives it a bit more oomph when starting off and eliminates the feeling of lag. I did like setting 4/2 which gives it even more...
