Re: Shuddering when turning

I would suggest draining the tcase and both diffs and refilling them with the appropriate lubes to see is it helps.

Amen brother, A-Freakin-Men! :D

Mine always have and always will be a "Jeep." There was the Red Jeep when I was a teen, the Blue Jeep that got me through 3 yrs of knee surgeries with my first...

Re: DEATH SHAKE!!!!!!! help please

Did not see any mention of getting the front end aligned after replacing the tie rod ends and other parts. I'd start there first even though the only thing that is really adjustable is the toe if I...

Re: Can I get your opinion on this Jeep as my Winter Vehicle?

I'd also get a reliable transmission shop to check out the tranny for you. They required the use of a specific ATF despite what a lot of shops were telling folks years ago and using the wrong stuff...

Re: "Poor" rating for emergency maneuver

If I were looking to purchase a vehicle that handled exceptionally well, I wouldn't buy it either. Well not without the intention of upgrading a lot of the suspension parts. The WK2 is what it is;...

Re: "Poor" rating for emergency maneuver

CR is not a track magazine and it test vehicles based on how the average owner would tend to drive them. That would be with the OEM tires and I doubt many folks are going to adjust their tire...

Re: Best wax for white cars?

I agree Scott and the 3/4" thick HTs are even better than the thicker ones. But since he was talking about a white pad, I figured he might already have the orange and/or yellow in hand.

Re: Best wax for white cars?

If you don't have any of the LC HT pads and only have the older flat pads (yellow, orange, white, black, blue from strongest to weakest cut) I would suggest sticking with either the M105 or UC and...

Re: Best wax for white cars?

In my eyes, I've yet to see any wax that really does much for white paint as far as looks. Instead I prefer the look of one or two coats of sealant over properly prepped white paint. Seems to me...

Re: Another Hemi Octane Thread

The hemi, like the 4.7HO before it, is designed to run just fine on 87. It also has the ability to take advantage of 89 if you run it consistently. Either will work. The engines do not have the...

Re: Is Black the only way to go?

Want to know what I think? I think it is a shame that the Jeep legend has been so gentrified that owners are now worried about being unique based on how much they spent or the color of their paint. ...

Not a big fan of stripes in general and certainly not one that wide. Maybe leave the center portion of the hood the original color and break it up into 2 stripes?

Re: Catch Can Recommended?

Any catch can can be made to work on the 5.7L, so long as you can find a way to mount it and use the right size fittings and hose to connect it to the PCV valve and intake.

Re: Why you should remove bird crap from your paint ASAP!
