Re: Questions about performance chips and tuning.

SuperChips is the reccomended tuner here...plug & play. It'll run you $300. It's one of my last performance mods I'm waiting on. Open up the intake and exhaust, then tune it with SuperChips. ;)

Re: fastman TB, magnaflow muffler.. intake needed on 4.7?

I went with the K&N gen 57 CAI on my 4.7 and haven't regretted a moment of it. Had the drop-in before...huge difference when you TRULY open up the intake. Opened up the exhaust with just the...

Re: Bad rear end noise!

Got the same noise only on right rear only. I will get (back up) under and look again. Sounds suspension-related only. Will let you know what I find out on mine...

Re: 4.7 oil filler cap sludge problems

Thanks for the feedback. Unfortunately, the yellowish sludge-condensation is actually dripping out of the PCV tube so I doubting it's just "accumulating" within the filler tube. I do drive short...

Unhappy 4.7 oil filler cap sludge problems

Hi guys,
As always, I did a search on this first but didn't come up with anything useful. I have a bad problem with that yellowish, condensation-like sludge that is coming in from the PCV valve...

Re: 3" exhaust on 4.7 too much?

Thanks for the replies guys. That helps and once I have it on I'll look into both the CAI and the F&B throttle body to open up the intake more. What about the Superchips programer? I looked into...

Re: Stiffer ride for the WJ?

Went with the 5100 Bilsteins and Addco rear swaybar on my 2000 Upcountry WJ Laredo. Whole new ride. Also gonna check all my bushings for wear now that I'm at 130K. EnergySuspension will be the...

Re: 3" exhaust on 4.7 too much?

Thanks. What's been the best selling/performing CAI for the 4.7? I'd like to consider doing a home brew intake VS spending $200-300 on a kit.

Suggestions?

3" exhaust on 4.7 too much?

Looking to install Kolak's 3" cat-back exhaust on my 4.7 WJ. I live in Colorado at 6,100 ft altitude. Unfortunately, my local exhaust guru advises against that large an exhaust because of low-end...
