it can be reached from the fender well. if you can jack the side up a bit you can do it with the wheel in place. use a jackstand though. or something if you put your arm up in there.

yeah you blew a fuse. DO NOT TRUST THE FUSE BOX COVER to find the fuse....they are never correct......use the owners manual.

1. on the rear a 3157 CK BULB is mandatory. a quick google can...

front is 3157 with 3 ohm 50w resistor.

rear is one 3157 and one 3157 CK bulb and 6 ohms 50w resistor.

disconnect negative terminal
step on brake pedal or turn on headlights for 20-30 seconds. (of course you dont see anything happening...

in the wk1 world we needed a CK wired bulb to work in rear.

plus a resistor.

on a 2005-06 which had 2 bulbs it takes ONE REG AND ONE CK plus resistors.

if you google you can find...
