Re: Tire pressure sensors 2007 WK

It's true, they can be learned either way. With the scan tool it's instant, with the drive to learn it takes a few minutes of drive time at speeds. As long as they're the correct sensors (frequency)....

Re: Tire pressure sensors 2007 WK

The WK's auto learn their locations so it 'should' be easier than the WJ's system, in theory anyway. If rotating doesn't change the symptom then I'd lean towards a bad pick up module. If you go to...

Re: Tire pressure sensors 2007 WK

Correct, if your spare is low it doesn't show psi on the dash, some vehicles show spare psi, others trigger the light for low spare, and some don't monitor the spare at all. Not sure which module it...

Re: Tire pressure sensors 2007 WK

Easier to just rotate your tires, bring the fronts back and backs up front. If it's a module the fault will stay in that corner, if it's a sensor the fault will follow the wheel. You should have a...

Re: What did you do to your WK today?

I just read through that tutorial, interesting but I feel most of it wasn't needed. Why hack up your pieces and wiring to install LEDs in the stock locations when you can easily get direct...

Re: What did you do to your WK today?

Are you just swapping leds into your interior lights, or adding lights to the trim above the cargo area?

Looks good. You can get the Jeep logos and other badging in black if you want after the plasti starts to fail. Jeep did a "high altitude" edition so there are OEM badges in black now, they can be had...

Ignition switch. That's part of the recall, take it to the dealer for repair. The "solution" part isn't available yet, but they can replace the switch with a new one of the original configuration for...

Re: What did you do to your WK today?

Re: What did you do to your WK today?

I assume we're talking about the bolt threads and not the control arm threads, correct? You could just get a replacement bolt and be done with it or, depending on the damage, you may be able to clean...

Re: What did you do to your WK today?

Is it the bolt threads or the control arm? Depending on the condition, hitting it with an impact could just compound the issue. Do you have a tap and die set?

Probably from trying to start it without it being in position. Common problem, fairly easy to rectify depending on the severity. If it's the bolt, obvious solution is a replacement. If the bolt...

Re: What did you do to your WK today?

The mounting strap or end link bolt? You may need to load or unload one side of the axle to improve the angle as to not cross it. If you can, upload a pic so I can see the dilemma and advise.

Re: What did you do to your WK today?

Yes, the 275 would exaggerate the wear even more. Metric sizing of tires is as follows: 275 (tread width in mm) 70 (sidewall height ratio as a % of width) 17 (wheel diameter). Your OEM wheels are...
