Re: Liftgate handle

Mine was flush when the car was new (Sept 13) but started distorting outward (like all the pics) this summer. My dealer had to send a pic to Jeep to get authorisation but they agreed to replace it....

Re: Fuses necessary to get home?

I always like to carry a spare set of fuses ...just in case...they are cheap so modest investment for peace of mind (though I agree in a modern vehicle they shouldn't blow, and if they do it may be...

Re: Diesel Leaking....

After I first filled up my new 2014 GC I noticed a diesel leak...just a few drops per hour., but enough to concern me. The leak was at the base of the tank where the filler pipe joined the tank via...

Re: UK Sat Nav Issue- Instrument Cluster Multi-Pronged Roundabouts

thanks for the feedback. I accept that there will only be a restricted number of 'cartoon' junction types, but it's the fact they frequently get basic junctions (roundabouts, +'s and T's) wrong. It...

Re: Need to Lobby for Tire Pressure in PSI vs Bar in Export Markets (UK at least)

thanks Snuke, must just be a European or UK set-up then. I'll see if I can find some other UK owners to request a PSI option.

Need to Lobby for Tire Pressure in PSI vs Bar in Export Markets (UK at least)

This has been raised in another thread, but in the UK, although the owners manual says tire pressures in non metric mode should be in PSI, they appear in the display as Bar. I think this may be the...

UK Sat Nav Issue- Instrument Cluster Multi-Pronged Roundabouts

Not sure how many UK 2014 GC owners are members of the forum, but I've got a strange issue for which a technical case has been raised with Jeep HQ but they seem unwilling to do much about it unless...

Re: fuel door

I was worried that if the door is not flush then water and dirt may settle in the capless filler....so I've made a cap for mine using drainpipe and a jar lid... not very sophisticated but.....
am...

Re: Tyre Pressure Monitoring System

that's kinda what I'm expecting...but will give them the chance 'to exceed customer expectations'
Also asked them to update the satnav software such that when displaying junctions on the...

Re: Tyre Pressure Monitoring System

I've just written to Jeep UK HQ and asked them to issue a software update that will show tire pressures in psi in non metric setting. Will see if I get a sensible reply.

Re: Tyre Pressure Monitoring System

in the UK they've set the thing up such that if you go through the settings-> display-> units process, if you set to 'US' the pressure is in Bar, and if you set it to 'Metric' its in Kpa. No idea why...

Re: Dash Cam Recommendations?

I'm in the UK where dashcams are not common, but after some research I ended up going for a Taiwanese built VicoVation-TF2+ which got good reviews and seems to be reliable (they claim a lot of taxi...

Re: Tyre Pressure Monitoring System

in the UK I'm stuck with Bar on 'MPH' setting and dealer says I can't display in psi (which is the standard unit for cars in the UK). I was hoping they would ask Jeep to come out with a flash to...

Re: Rattling from the fuel system

Not sure if this is the same but I had a buzz/rattle from behind the dash on the left hand side, especial at 25-40mph with foot on the gas (diesel) from the first day I bought it. Dealer identified...

Re: fuel door

It was the whole upper part of the door for me but it was worst at the hinge end. The weird thing is that since commenting on it a couple of weeks ago, the GC has been mainly sitting in the garage...

Re: fuel door

I've mentioned it twice now....and they've said they can't adjust it and 'live with it'. I pointed to one pre-delivery Summit on the lot which had a perfectly flush fuel door, but they also had...

Re: Recall notices for instrument cluster

Recall letters haven't been issued in the UK yet but dealers have the software update so had mine done today with no ill-effects so far. Took about 2 and a half hours. I now have numbers on the dial...
