Re: 5.7 No Start

It might not be bad time to do a compression test. Also gives you a chance to take a look at the plugs while you're at it.

Re: Help Me Identify These Zip Ties

Keep me posted please. While it's not a big deal, I'd rather have the harness mounted as it was intended.

Re: Help Me Identify These Zip Ties

More or less the same story I got. Definitely not worth risking breaking more stuff with an engine harness replacement for a zip tie.

Also, who is the idiot at Chrysler that decided to not ship...

Fir Tree Mount Cable Ties - 157-00158 (http://www.hellermanntyton.us/ProductDetail.aspx?p=157-00158)

I found a place that sells similar zip ties but they only sell them in 500 count bags.

Re: Tow package after purchase

I think it has to due with the load leveling shocks. You can buy them but from what I have seen that are hard to track down. So if you don't need the full capacity, it is probably not worth getting. ...

Re: turn off text message notification

I turned mine off in the bluetooth settings on my phone; there was an option to deselect 'Text Messaging.' I turned it off, it was driving me crazy.

Help Me Identify These Zip Ties

My Grand Cherokee was in the shop for an oil pressure sensor that failed. One clips on the harness that goes to the PCV was broken. I stopped by the dealership to get a new clip but they didn't have...

Sorry to resurrect the thread from the dead. I just got the CEL for the oil pressure circuit last night. Going to take the car in this week to get it fixed.

Re: WK2 rear brake turn LED's installed. VLED V3 Triton with pics

Got home late today but I'm working from home tomorrow so I'll do a quick write up for removing the bumper then. Completely optional for this install but it does make some things easier.

Re: WK2 rear brake turn LED's installed. VLED V3 Triton with pics

I'll type up some directions when I get home from work. Keep in mind that you will need four new plastic rivets and a rivet gun when putting the bumper back on.

Re: WK2 rear brake turn LED's installed. VLED V3 Triton with pics

Pulling the bumper is only a 5 minute process. I wanted to have better access to the area underneath the taillight to secure the controller and resistor.

Re: WK2 rear brake turn LED's installed. VLED V3 Triton with pics

I think most people did the install without taking the bumper off. It just seemed easier to pull the bumper off for me.

Re: BREAKING NEWS - New uconnect update for MY13 & MY14

I applied the update a few days and it did resolve jittery rearview camera video. Before the update, the video would sometimes skip. Other than that, I haven't noticed any differences.

Re: Found Damage When Installing Tow Hooks

I'd rather have them fix it. I'll fix it if they decide they don't want to. I guess I wouldn't blame them, it's been seven months since I bought it. So we'll see what they say when I bring it in.

Re: 2014 Jeep OEM Projected headlight to OEM HID headlight

Would it still be possible to turn the DRLs on and off in the settings or would that option be gone? I'm definitely interested if it behaves as close to stock as possible.
