KJ2 Thermostat

Hi all,

EDIT. Sorry Don't know why I put KJ2 in the subject. It's just a 2002 KJ. No 2.

Can someone take a look at these and verify whether the stat gasket is supposed to stick out this much...

Re: Where NOT to apply rain x(windshield)

Anyone have any tricks for getting spots off you can only see while the window is wet? I've tried soapy water and various other things, but when I wet the window, I see all kinds of spots and stuff....

Re: Where NOT to apply rain x(windshield)

Update. Bit the bullet and bought the PIAA 96050 and 96055 Forza Hybrid Silicone Wiper Blades. They are 20" and 22". The pair on Amazon was around $68.

They seem to be fantastic blades, though I...

Re: Where NOT to apply rain x(windshield)

One problem... $75+ a pair is kind of a lot for blades! I thought $40 for the Bosch or Rain-X was steep.

Are they that much better to warrant the price difference? Do they last longer?

They...

Re: Hiding Cables Behind Dash

Hi all,

I installed a Pioneer AVH-P4400BH the other day and so far really like it.

To keep on topic, I managed to get a long USB cable ran from the center console storage bin (under the radio)...

Re: Where NOT to apply rain x(windshield)

Yeah, I figure I'll be switching back to Bosch ICONs next time.. but BOGO is never a bad thing. They work decently well. Wonder if putting one of each is the real test!

Re: Where NOT to apply rain x(windshield)

I've also been using Rain-X for over 10 years. I can instantly tell whether other people's vehicles I'm in are using it or not.

I've tried all of the varieties of Rain-X. I didn't find the spray...

Re: Push to start(keyless n go)

I got my issues resolved. I needed new keys and they had to be programmed. The key I originally had was programmed to unlock the doors and that's it. I don't think there was any constant vehicle-key...

No, you press the button again, but you have to be in Park.

Re: Push to start(keyless n go)

I am getting the "Damaged Key" message currently in my WK2... I'm told that the passive (keyless) entry doesn't work because I have the wrong keys. I am guessing there is some lack of communication...

Re: Keyless N Go Fob question

Passive Entry is enabled in EVIC. I don't any options there for push-button start.

Vehicle is under warranty, but I first need to convince the deal or prove my model should have push-button start....

Re: Push to start(keyless n go)

Hi all. I posted this over at Jeep Forums, but am desparately seeking more info ASAP.

I bought a pre-owned 2011 Grand Cherokee Laredo 4X4 (E package, I think) on Saturday. I just got back from the...

Re: Hiding Cables Behind Dash

Thanks a lot of the info.

I'm actually not against just getting a GOOD single DIN or maybe one of the rare 1.5 DIN.

Has anyone had a problem with warranties with DIY radio mods?

Hiding Cables Behind Dash

Hi all,

I'd like to run a DC power cable for my cell phone up behind the dash from the front center DC outlet and pop it out on top of the dash. Possible? I have a windshield/dash mounted cell...

Re: Keyless N Go Fob question

Hi all,

So I have a "new to me" 2011 Laredo. I believe I have the E package. The build sheet says "Keyless Enter-N-Go".

However, I can't get passive entry to work. I do have the exterior lock...

Re: Sure glad I traded for the Hemi

I didn't test drive the HEMI although I'm sure it rocks. My previous '96 ZJ had the 5.2L V8 and that had some power. I've just got the 3.6L V6. It's nice, smooth, and quiet. Definitely doesn't pickup...

Re: What car are you dumping to make room for your WK2?

I just set asides a 1996 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited 5.2L V8. She has 366,600 miles and still runs. Amazing that thing.
