Re: ALL NEW NITTO NT421Q in 265/50 VR 20

Mine now have over 10,000 miles on them. I've rotated them once--I plan to do that at each oil change--and they have NO obvious wear.

I'm VERY happy with them.

Re: EVIC vs Calculated MPG

I too use spreadsheets to track my investments, but I pay attention to fuel mileage and drive to achieve lower gas consumption. I accelerate slowly--much to the annoyance of the pushy broads in their...

Re: EVIC vs Calculated MPG

I keep a spreadsheet for fuel mileage and have filled 8 times since I found the fuel-mileage panel in the Jeep. The EVIC has NEVER shown the same number as the real calculation, and it's always...

Re: 2014 JGC 10 Speaker Amp

I suspected it was something like that. :)

If you find the original system's bass to be adequate, and I suspect you'll find the output of the rear-door and D-pillar drivers adequate, I suggest...

Re: 2014 JGC 10 Speaker Amp

In the '13 models, I understand that 'the Alpine system' merely replaced the super-cheap communistchinese drivers with blue-coned Alpine units...that all the rest of the system was the same. BTW, the...

Re: DD or no?

You have a highly effective 4WD vehicle and you'll drive something else in the winter? What is it?

And what does DD mean? I thought this might be a thread about synthetic v. D(ead) D(ino) oils.

Re: 2014 JGC 10 Speaker Amp

Yup. My '13 JGC Limited didn't have the Alpine system in it, but it was a 10-speaker system. Rad..., you've seen my thread on replacing mine. Of course, the principal problem is that the original...

The bass/midrange drivers in the front doors should NEVER be called 'subwoofers'. Woofers they are, subwoofers (drivers and systems designed to reproduce the bottom octave [20 - 40Hz] and below) they...

re: So...2014 Owners...who's gonna be the first to throw some 22s

Wow; how do those 14-foot owners even get into a Jeep? Or did you mean '14 as an abbreviation of 2014?

Those 14-footers are sort of like the 20- and 22-foot wheels some of us have on our Jeeps.

Re: Got any lower? Quadralift ove ride

I agree, especially if you can fix the butt-high attitude. Or perhaps the 3 settings could be OR2 on top, Aero (but NOT butt-high) for the middle, and around a 1/2" lower on the bottom.
