Re: ORC module recall

I left the vehicle for the whole day and got a rental because I have the Lifetime MaxCare, so I'm not sure how long it took. I also had the brake booster recall done, and an oil change.

Re: ORC module recall

My last service visit hasn't shown up on the Owner Connect site yet, but I'll post here if it does, and if that changes the status of the recall.
I had the visor recall done last year, and no...

Re: Michelin LTX MS 2 for Winter

I run the LTX MS/2s at a little higher pressure than the 33psi recommended. After experimenting for quite a while I settled on around 35-36 psi cold. I think they handle better, and are a little...

Re: ORC module recall

I'm keeping an eye on the Jeep Owner Connect site to see if the recall has been cleared for my vehicle. So far it hasn't, but if it does, I'm not going to be in a pleasant mood.

Re: Michelin LTX MS 2 for Winter

I've had the LTX M/S2s for two years now and no complaints. We've averaged over 100" of snow both winters, and the traction was excellent. Long vacation drives in the summer were smooth and quiet....

Interesting update on P67 ORC recall. I had a state inspection and oil change done at my dealer today. On the invoice was an item saying the P67 recall was performed. I went to my service adviser and...

On the door sticker, at bottom right, MDH=month-day-hour. Mine was built April 6th at 9 a.m.
(Actually they are built in a day.)

It surprises me you're still doing business with these jerks. I'd get out of that deal if at all possible. I wonder what else will go south with this vehicle.

Re: First Oil Change - Dealer said synthetic required

Now that he knows you "read the fine print" he probably won't try to screw you again. That doesn't mean he won't try to pull a quick one on others. It's a shame, but it's the world we live in.

Re: 2013 Overland Remote start range poor

Sounds like a bad receiver in the vehicle. I'm sure the dealer can figure it out. My '14 remote starts through my steel garage door from inside my kitchen a hundred feet away.
