Yes, it goes off like someone was actually trying to break into it, and this is after I hit the unlock button on my key fob like normal so I can get in to it...didn't hit the panic button or anything...

The inside air temperature is warm, or at what it should be. Do the infrared sensors also work this way if the fan and mode selector are not set to "Auto?"
