Re: WK2 Front Tow Hook Installation (pic heavy)

Where did you get your tow hooks chromed? How much did it cost? I have the black ones right now and am wondering if I should get the chrome tow hooks for $206 on justforjeeps, or have them chromed.

Re: 2014 LED Tail Light as Brake/Turn signal??

Can it be done? That's something I'd like to try - not sure if 1 led would do the trick to light out the entire hollow portion, but it might be worth trying. Is it possible to run wires from the...

Re: MOPAR Rock Rails Installed - Picture Laden

If you don't mind me asking how much did all of it cost? I went for the $400 Mopar side rails on my 14 , but I'm wondering if I should try and sell those for the rock rails you have (they do look...

There is a longer thread here about switching all the 14 lights to LEDs, I can't remember the name of the thread but it can easily be searched with a few key words like dome light or led. It's...

Did you decide yet? I'm wondering the same question for my 14 Laredo. I'm thinking about doing it once the new car still dissipates ha. I've seen more luxury cars with the gathered leather look,...

Re: 2014 replacing bulbs with LED's interior , replace headlamp/fog

I wouldn't do that - chances are you won't have a clean separation by soldering off the chip from an existing 194 bulb. I'd suggest ordering it, wait a few days, and do it right. You really don't...

Re: 2014 replacing bulbs with LED's interior , replace headlamp/fog

Check out my post in page 14 of this thread. Its not the easiest thing in the world, but most definitely possible. Takes some soldering, so depending on your skill level, it wouldn't be the worst...

Re: 3m vinyl and chrome trim

The prices of the 3M black vinyl wrap vs plasti dip is like over $100 vs less than $10.

I've been considering doing the same thing on my 14 GC, but to get the seamless look with the wrap, it...

Re: 2014 replacing bulbs with LED's interior , replace headlamp/fog

Re: 2014 replacing bulbs with LED's interior , replace headlamp/fog

Use a very thin flathead screwdriver to pop the tab. Put it in the middle of the inside edge of the cover - it comes right off. Very easy once you see how it comes off and pops in.
