Re: Thule AeroBlades - Pics

Thanks for the good photos, and for the specific part numbers.
The bars look good.

$73.59 for 20.5 gal, Wyoming. 401 miles on this tank per the trip odometer.
The Evic says 17.x since the previous reset >3000 miles ago, have 5000 miles on the 5.7 limited now.

Re: Splash Guards on 2012 Overland

@cloud11244
I sure like your Granite rims
better than the ones I've got for winter tires, although i do prefer the 18s to 20s for my conditions...

Re: Splash Guards on 2012 Overland

The tires are the 265/60R-18 Bridgestone Blizzak DM-V1. I got them from Tire Rack, as a package mounted and balanced, with TPMS, on their inexpensive "sport edition" wheels.

Since I need to...

Re: Extra Dealer incentive

I think it's real. Get this: The dealer told ME that Chrysler had mailed it to me.
The postcard, or whatever it was, I had likely tossed out as junkmail.
(I already had a Jeep, and somehow the...

Re: Tow Group IV or not

If I never expected to tow, I wouldn't get it - I'd let the next guy install an aftermarket hitch. Since I do often tow, I got it. The factory hitch package is a very nice, complete package,...

Re: Splash Guards on 2012 Overland

Well, I don't like the look much - but where we live, when the roads aren't snowy, they are muddy, or worse,,, Frequent cattle drives on the road.

Without the mud flaps, the doors become CAKED...

Re: Pleasantly surprized 3.6L mileage

Can anyone tell me
over what distance, or what time, is the EVIC's displayed mileage averaged?
Is it since the most recent reset, or over some fixed period or distance?

I have the 5.7, so far...

Re: Protecting Rear Seatbacks when Folded

The Canvasback liner works for me, it's the only thing I found which extends forward to cover the seat backs. It's well made, not cheap, and fits perfectly. Seems like it will hold up (Labrador...

Re: First Oil Change

Same thing here - the factory filter was WAY overtight, not just tough to break loose initially, but required a lot of grunt to unscrew the first turn or so. Also, the gasket remained stuck to the...

Thumbs up Re: New Tires- Summit

I have used the Blizzaks for winter for a dozen years, on two Subaroux and two previous Jeeps, now got 'em for the 2012 GC (in 265/60-18). I like them, they aren't a deep offroad snow tire but...
