Re: Bilstein on back order **SIGH**

I found a set of Monroe Load Leveler shocks on Craigslist for $80 (his wife said they were too stiff) and those are in the rear. I think they were originally made for F150's, but someone discovered...

Re: Bilstein on back order **SIGH**

My 5100's deliver today. I can't wait to see what they do to the stance. I don't mind a harsher ride, the Monroe LL added some stiffness to the back and some lift too. I got mine from carid, they...

Re: 06 WK Seat belt recoil issue

I did the spray and it worked! Just do it on a day you can leave all the doors open for a few hours, that smell is pretty bad. Thanks Tom 58

Re: Transmission over temp issue...is back again

Mine has done it in January 5 minutes after a 6 am start up, usually can toggle from tow to regular mode and it goes away. Very strange. It is definitely not hot though.

5.7 with QD2 Front Drive shaft repair

I searched the site for this and saw some differing opinions regarding the removal/repair of the front drive shaft (D/S). Some said the D/S could be removed without the x-member removed, that was not...

Re: Any hints for dropping the front driveshaft ?

I have the 5.7 w/QD2, I had to support the trans and remove the x-member to get the drive shaft out. It was that or remove the exhaust. Hope this helps.

I installed a set of Sensa Trac after my Ranchos blew out in less than a year. These shocks are awesome. I went from 18.5" to 19.5" from center to bottom of 1/4. The front is still stock at 17.5", so...

Thanks. I think I need to get behind the mirror, but I had a lot of trouble with it and got scared of breaking the auto dim feature. I think you are on to something though. That spring must be loose...

Re: 06 Nav will not play Mp3's only Wma's?

I think it has something to do with a 'table of contents' file, also I discovered that some of the files were mp4, which the player can't play. Converting and I'll give a whirl...

Re: 06 Nav will not play Mp3's only Wma's?

Re: 2007 WK Front drive shaft problems

I replaced isolator bushings about a year ago. I heard a "clunk" when shifting from P->R, R->D or P->D, basically when torque was applied the front differential rotated and the inside case smacked...

Re: 06 qd2 rear diff binding while cold

No it got much better after the first service, now it is just lingering. I hear you, the dealer said my fluid was nasty, but who can believe them. If it keeps up I will have them replace it again.

06 Nav will not play Mp3's only Wma's?

Re: 2007 wk clunk when slowing down...?

I don't know about the slippage but the "clunk" going from R to D and down shift is the bushings, very common.

I purchased all the parts from the dealer, they are online but shipping made the cost...

Re: 2007 wk clunk when slowing down...?

Most likely the Isolation Bushings on the front differential are split. The trans is down shifting and rotating the diff as it does it. I just did mine, now the R to D and downshift "clunk" is gone.
