Napleton River Oaks in Lansing, IL is tops. Got the power brake booster recall completed within two weeks of notice. Service guys and gals are tops also. Plus free coffee and popcorn.

Another Recall - Vanity Mirror Lamp

Just received an email this morning from the US DOT NHTSA for a recall of Jeeps WK2 2011-2014 relating to a Vanity Mirror Lamp short which may result in a fire. Number14V391.

Yesterday, I received the map update for the 2012 RHR 730N and included was the new software disc. It is version 2.600. See thread on 2014 Map Update for RHR for a picture.

Just received the map update package today for the 2012 RHR 730N. Contents include software update. Notice the version number 2.600 for the RHR. I was running 2.184. Maybe **SOX** can fill us in....

New 2014 RHR Map (June 9th) for 2012 JGC.

I was just at www.navigation.com (http://www.navigation.com). The new 2014 map update for the RHR (2012 JGC) will be available for $149 on Monday, June 9.

I agree that 25k is a small batch. Since it covers 2012 and 2013, build dates may be towards the end of 2012.

I use software that will make an ISO copy. Use the lowest speed possible for the copy (i.e. 2x). Have not had any problems using the DVDs.

Don't worry. Transmission went into "limp" mode. I had the same problem. A solenoid probably went out.

Never had much success using a USB. I use a DVD-R and perform an ISO image burn. 100% success rate.

A few days ago in another thread, 6.7LMegaCab referred to 2.184 software application for the RHR 730N. I looked at WK2Jeeps and it has listed a new TSB for the RHR 730N with updated software (2.184)....

Well I used WD-40. It worked. Looks good. The tar was very thick and I had to let it set for about 15 minutes. Then it came off very easy.

Maps are not updated quarterly. Maybe once a year if lucky. The disc you will receive from navteq is specific for your VIN and can not be used in another vehicle.
