See that doesn't do anything but prolong the fact your going to have another burnt bulb in a few months. At least that's how it's going for me!

My or my wife's driving style has not changed and the last couple cars/trucks(toyotas, Hondas, nissans) we owned had 70k on them before even needing pads let alone rotors.... I torque my lugs to spec...
