Re: Dealer says no one wants off road package

Well, that is a stereotype and so perhaps I agree with your intolerance of stereotyping. However, have you ever seen a Porsche with a lift and mud tires? I haven't, because it's not fit for purpose....

Re: Dealer says no one wants off road package

If you buy an Overland with hemi or diesel does it still come with quadra-drive? If so, mechanically there is no difference between the ORAII package and the regular overland. It's just the skids,...

Re: Is there any feature you can do without or a must have!

Haha that exists here in MA? I guess I'm not really surprised.

Anyway, my list would be as follows:

Could do without:
1. Auto liftgate - I use it always but it's honestly more annoying to...

Re: 2013 Owners... Built After September 1st 2012...

Me! Nov 2012...'13 Stone White Overland. Got an obnoxious deal as '14's were being released and wanted Saddle/Black interior anyway.

Re: Lifetime extended warranties, do they make sense?

Thanks for all your responses, that definitely makes me second guess the warranty. I do have a couple lawyer buddies that maybe I'll have take a look at the contract before I purchase, see what they...

Re: Lifetime extended warranties, do they make sense?

I have a quick question related to this. I'm probably going to buy the Lifetime MaxCare. But similar to the OP, I worry about what is considered wear and tear versus mechanical failure. As an...

Re: 2012 SRT8 or 2014 Overland?

The styling differences between the MY 11-13 and 14 are completely subjective, so that should simply play into what the OP prefers. As previously stated...if you want luxury with off road ability get...

Re: Good Deal???

To the OP: Check online prices at Brigham Gill in Natick. They have very good dealer discounts. I got ~10% below invoice on my 2013 Overland Hemi with barely any haggling from their listed online...

Re: Leather Seat Quality Experience MY 2013

I have MY13 Overland w/saddle, 6k miles. Everything still looks great with the exception of the driver side seat-bottom. It is bubbled and stretched a bit. The thing is, I noticed it was like that...

Re: New V6 Overland Review Article

Yep definitely the functionality of the new instrument cluster is superior. It's got the cool factor with the articulation and angle on the axles/wheels too. I just don't like the needles, they...

Re: New V6 Overland Review Article

Nice review. Although the '14s still haven't grown on me to like them more than my '13 Overland with Saddle interior. I also think it's funny how they love the new instrument cluster and electronic...

Re: Rough start when cold or after sitting for a day

Haven't tried switching gas brands, but not a bad idea. I pretty much only run 89 octane Hess gas, with Hess obviously middle of the road stuff. I live in Boston and the Hess by me is so much less...

Re: Rough start when cold or after sitting for a day

Thanks for responding! Oil level is definitely good, within the full range on the dipstick. I have a little under 6k miles on it, and this occurs in hot and moderate temps (i.e. 50-80 F). It's pretty...

Rough start when cold or after sitting for a day

I have a 2013 with v8, and when I start the vehicle after it's sat for a day or so it doesn't start as smooth as it does when it is warm. I don't really know how to describe it other than a single...

Re: Deal-Breaker The Seats

I (well, Metro Credit Union) own/s a '13 Overland...at first I thought the seats were too hard and too narrow, although I loved the look of the Saddle interior. I also felt like the left side of my...

Re: Trade Satin 20" Wheels for Trailhawk 18"

Thank you both. Ciegos - Thanks for the ideas. I was thinking a second set but figured as long as it doesn't erode mileage by 2-3 mpg then I don't really care if they stay on. I actually like the...

Hi all,

I'm new to the forum. This is actually my first post on here. I'm looking forward to some good discussions and hopefully contributing once I become more knowledgeable.

Anyway, so in...
