Re: Load Leveling shocks retrofit - Laredo

What is this you speak of?
I've never heard anything from my load leveling shocks.
Love them when I load up the rear for vacation up north.
Drive a couple miles and the rear end...

Re: Brake Upgrade 2011 JGC?

Well, if you have the V8, you already have the 'big' brakes (but not the Brembo from the SRT).

If you don't want to lay out the cash for the Brembo setup...

I plan to go with Frozen Rotors up...

Re: is the 9 speaker upgrade option worth it?

I never listen to satellite or radio. :)
I load MP3s (5GB worth) onto my hard drive (430N) and only listen to them. Most of my MP3s are VBR or CBR @ 320kbps.

I also use software to adjust the...

Re: WK2 Junk in the trunk: version 2.0 - interior storage compatments

LOL, that's a lot of stuff.
I keep a 'real' lug wrench (since I have Mcguard wheel locks of a different socket size); a couple flash lights (one has a crank to charge it); some gloves for changing a...

You know, I call bullsh*t on the reduce towing, at least with the V6.
The V6 doesn't have a trans cooler, and the only 'upgrades' I can find on mine with the factory tow package is the load leveling...

Re: Need to access center stop led wiring

The wire harness comes in underneath the tailgate spoiler.
You have to remove the spoiler to get to the wire harness.

Re: 2014 WK2 fob panic button disable

Why not just place a strategic small piece of electrical tape over the circuit board contacts?

Reversible if you ever want to sell the vehicle.

Re: is the 9 speaker upgrade option worth it?

Depends on how much time/money you want to spend on upgrading the stereo after you buy the vehicle.

Personally, I like the 9 speaker system in my 2012.
Trying to retrofit an equivalent speaker...

Re: Suede door trim added

Please don't use Imgur.
Pictures expire or accounts get suspended and then the links stop working, then the thread is useless without pics.

It's pretty easy to attach pics to the thread.

Re: Rock Rail Paint?

Black Herculiner?
$70 at Lowes.
Should be enough for a complete coating on both sides with some left over for touch-ups later.

And more durable than regular paint.

Re: Thinking of getting a 2011 GC Laredo but have a question

Consumer Reports isn't worth the paper it's printed on.

I've got a 2012 and besides the standard recalls and some TSBs, I've only had a window regulator go out and a water pump.

Re: Bushwacker Fender Flare Install

I realize these are specifically molded pieces for a GC, but damn $500 seems like a lot of money for 6 pieces of plastic.
