i do know that many lube shops and mom and pop shops don't stock the "Original" Stuff. many use the Prestone "Any Color" kind or equivelent. they also don't pay close attention to the ratio. the...

I don't have any pictures.. i was traveling during the repair. it really did suck... very expensive. they did say that the only plugs that belong in that engine are champion plugs. the cheap...

This is exactly the problem. and its a $2500 repair.

the good thing is that I'm getting both heads re-worked and all the valves cleaned up.

they are also going to add the latest...

i did put the new sensor in... result... i have a new sensor. won't have to worry about that sensor anymore... lol...

well.. as far as repairs go.. $80 for the initial diags... $90 for the...

Update:

finally got back from Haiti, Reno, Albuquerque, Salt Lake, Denver, Harrisburg, and New York.

Well.. its at the dealer now.. they don't even know what the problem is with the first...

well... just cleaning it didn't solve the issue, i will try to get the new sensor in tomorrow b4 i leave for Haiti. Really getting sick of all the false positives.. that sort of gives you the idea...

So... I'm a bit skeptical yet... But seeing noticable engine happieness.

I removed the sensor.. Cleaned it off well with a papertowel.

I noted some oil in the connector.. It hadn't leaked...

i rotated all the nozzles, coils, and new plugs... i would have expected the problem to follow... i till think its a rings/valve issue...

i am traveling the next few weeks and wont be in town to...

i am not sure... and i am probably jumping the gun...

but after like 6 or seven serious sea foam treatments... my wj pulls harder than ever. and it hasn't seen a misfire in over 50...

well.. im running the in-vacuum line treatment multiple times... seems the engine runs better.. but still get the codes... but its longer time until they come back.

replacing my front pass. tweeter turned into replacing all my speakers and adding a JL 300/4 and a JL clean sweep DSP. didn't see that coming. bout a grand by the time the dust settled.

the start up isn't a strong one. not like it used to be. i just noticed what looked to be more than a puff of steam from the exhaust. like there may have been oil or something left over that...

the injectors look good. very clean looking. no obvious damage..

if i had a "compression" problem.. how would i even start to fix that with out taking out a mortgage?

Yeah. I now know about the knock sensor absence on the standard 4.7.. I have a scanner and have cleared the codes. Then I'll walk away. Let the engine cool off.. I'll come back. It's a 50/50...
