Why not just ask them what they're fitting? If you don't like it, you could still negotiate a contribution towards what you want.

If it's a Danfoss powered one it'd have the same guts as my Bushboy fridge. Yes it'll run from the rear socket, but the voltage drop doesn't help efficiency... especially in particularly hot weather...

Depends on the caravan to an extent, but the short answer is no. If the caravan has a three-way fridge, it's a definite no.
