Re: help!

If you can, spray some penetrating oil behind wheel. Usually I take a long pry bar and get it between wheel and something solid, like the steering knuckle where tie rod attaches. Just put a rag or...

Re: '03 P455 Code - moe details in msg

If you are unable to see a cracked line or hose visually, find a shop with a "Smoke Machine". This hooks up to your evap. system and filles it with smoke, then the smoke escapes wherever the leak...

Re: Need better fuel economy

My 04 Overland with 4.7 HO only gets about 11 mpg when I only drive it to work, which is about 10 minutes. Hardly gets warmed up, and a cold engine uses more fuel. Just driving it a little bit...

Re: Can anyone tell me how to replace vacuum line on 2000 WJ Grand Cherokee

Re: Can a different year engine be used for a 99 limited?

I did run into a 4.7 year issue a while back. It had to do with the crankshaft sensor reluctor wheel on the crankshaft being different.

The salvage yard should be able to tell you what will fit,...

Thumbs up Re: 04 Overland in Jersey

Just curious, what did the display show?

That is great mileage, especially when alot of these new cars are advertising just over 30mpg.

My 04 Overland does ok on fuel for what it is, never...

This Superchips Flashpaq should be a #3875 and will work on my 2004 4.7 HO.

Re: 4.7 crank replacement am i crazy ? Lol

Not sure if it could be done in the vehicle, I doubt it, but why would you even want to try it?

By the time you get the front cover off, chains off, transmission slid back for clearance, you...

Re: resetting super chip tuner

As far as I have seen with the tuners, you load your vehicle to stock settings, and this unlocks it and can be used with another.

What part number is it? I have been looking for one, but cannot...

Re: Two issues with the first 30 seconds

Before you start it, open the hood and if possible have someone else start it while you see if a ton of air is being blown by the cooling fan. You can even hold the idle up by hand at the throttle...

Re: Two issues with the first 30 seconds

Not sure what kind of noise you have in first gear, but once in a while we run into a mechanical cooling fan clutch staying locked up and sounds like a 747 taking off until it kicks out.

Hi all,

Signed up a while ago, and have been lurking.
