Brakes?

I got my 2007 Laredo last fall and now I'm due for brakes... I'm looking for a good (but not super $$$) set of brakes.

What brands/series brakes is everyone using? What should I NOT use?

I love my K&N intake kit. Took about an hour and a half, and I'm getting an average increase of 2 mpg. Sounds great as well.

A switch (plastic plunger) on my brake pedal would stick causing the DTC and both lights coming on. There might be a defect in that switch on some units.
