I spoke with someone at Amsoil today concerning the issue of friction modifiers in the ELSD rear axle of my WK2. He told me that their Extreme Gear 75W-90 gear oil DOES NOT need the friction modifier...

Try this:

Lock out Quadra Lift suspension system by pushing the Raise and Lower buttons simultaneously for 5-10 seconds until lights flash.

There is no mention anywhere I can find that this particular Mopar lube is a syn product.
