Re: 730N (RHR) Still Not Avaliable Yet?

RHR is available for order, but that doesn't mean that Overlands or Overland Summits built now will have it. Remember, "available for order" is not the same as "building with that feature right now."...

Re: How accurate is your estimated delivery date?

Thanks for clarifying. I hadn't seen the other threads... was going by your sig with modified 7/22.

I really do hope you get your WKs soon. It's definitely worth the wait!

Re: How accurate is your estimated delivery date?

I understand... I admit, I'm a bit confused by Mashie's order. The signature says Saddle and Tech Package, which wasn't even available for order until the middle of September.

I wish I knew what...

Re: Another 430n iPhone question

Streaming music through the USB port works perfectly on any iPhone OS prior to 4.0. Not sure what Apple changed in 4.0 and newer, but until there's an update, the streaming doesn't seem to work.

Re: How accurate is your estimated delivery date?

The waiting definitely sucks, but I don't think this is a very fair statement. I highly doubt you'd get a much better experience from any other volume manufacturer (high-end brands like Rolls Royce...

Re: RHB - Album art?

Album art only works with CDs (and only if that CD is in the Gracenote database). I believe it's even only "store-bought" CDs (won't work with burned CDs from iTunes, for example).

Re: Darn keyless enter-n-go

Locking the key fob in the car after remote start must be a loophole. If you leave the key fob in the car and lock the doors, the system chirps the horn 3 times and unlocks the doors to let you know...

It's incredible. Just keeps getting better and better.

Jeep's really got a winner with this one.

Re: joy to the world... my rig has arrived

The buttons took some getting used to. You can also use voice commands to change stations (for AM, FM, or SIRIUS). I use the voice commands much more often than the buttons now.

Re: anyone else been trouble-free

3100 miles... no major issues. I did have to take it into the dealership for a nasty sunroof rattle. Dealer needed to insulate the fixed glass portion of the CommandView sunroof. No more rattles.

Re: Unsure about snow performance

I've been pleasantly surprised so far. The roads here have been more icy than snow, but in the snowy patches and unplowed roads, the performance has been great (I have the 20s).

I have noticed...

Re: VIN help

I've always preferred leasing. I know it's not necessarily the best value, but the benefits to me (subjective, I know) are:

- I get to drive a new vehicle every 2-3 years
- I never have to sell...

Re: How accurate is your estimated delivery date?

My estimated delivery date was not even close. It shifted about 3 weeks from the initial D1 date before I finally got it. Unfortunately, it really seems to vary.

Re: The new 730n RHR ready for order yet?

Sorry... I meant that RHR adds the two features that RER doesn't have, and that RHB does have (voice command of music, and SIRIUS Travel Link).

Re: The new 730n RHR ready for order yet?

The navigation interface preference is really personal preference IMO.

The big value-add features on the RER/RHR are: (a) dead reckoning (b) voice command of navigation, and (c) SIRIUS Traffic.

I'm amazed how quiet the WK2 is.

Although, my last two vehicles were a Wrangler and a Mustang, so after those two, everything seems quiet.

Re: The new 730n RHR ready for order yet?

Haven't seen the letter, but it should have said that RHR will be standard on Summit (as well as all Overlands), but that since RHR is still late availability, RHB is being substituted.

Yes, you can order the Overland Summit today.
