Re: Outside Temperature Sensor Problem

Apparently I'm not on the VIP list for tsb 08-053-14.
Built before May 06, 2014
They did however perform tsb 24-002-13 which I had no problem with nor requested it.
I sent the printed 08-053-14...

Re: Extend remote start time on OEM 14 W2

Wow, this went bad fast. Anyway sticking with the question I guess there is no way to extend the run time.

Extend remote start time on OEM 14 W2

Because 15 minutes is not enough time when it's super cold.
Anyway to extend the run time?
TIA

Re: FLASH: TRANSMISSION SHIFT ENHANCEMENTS (vehicles with 3.6L engine)

Dealer actually flashed the transmission TSB this time and replaced the satellite antenna.

Re: FLASH: TRANSMISSION SHIFT ENHANCEMENTS (vehicles with 3.6L engine)

Wondering the same. When I brought the jeep to the dealer for the last TSB on this transmission update they told me it was up to date and turn into a wasted visit.

Re: very happy with my WK2 MPG

Looks good but don't rely on the read out for accuracy. Go old school fill up at the pump and document the gallons.

Re: So one of my rear wheels almost fell of my 14 Overland today?

They got off easy. The mechanic should be fired on the spot. Free oil changes for life to start. The lawsuit that would have incurred if the tire fell off would be peanuts if the tire came off only...

Re: Outside Temperature Sensor Problem

I find it disturbing that this fix is still not out. Even more disturbing is that current production may still have the same issue.

Re: CROWD PROJECT: Retrofitting "STOP" on the 2014 JGCs with ACC

Understood. However the link above claims the jeep came to a full automatic stop with the pre July NH1 hardware.

Re: CROWD PROJECT: Retrofitting "STOP" on the 2014 JGCs with ACC

This is interesting since I did not think that the vehicle would actually stop without the ACC with stop feature. Could it be that the Overlands have this built in pre July and the software update...

Re: CROWD PROJECT: Retrofitting "STOP" on the 2014 JGCs with ACC

Dealer told me they will not assist with a braking system component that the vehical did not have from the factory. This leads me to believe that any module firmware update for the ACC with stop...

Re: UConnect 8.4 - North America

Yes, with the current setup the issue is when remote start is performed and the blower heat comes on, the heated seats/wheel does not, based solely with the blower heat coming on. The outside temp....

Re: UConnect 8.4 - North America

This really makes no logical sense to me. When the jeep calls for heat and hot air comes out of the vents the heated seats and wheel should join the party. Same with the a/c coming on, the vented...

Re: 2014 AC not working with Remote Start

Same here. Seems like they still haven't got it right. Maybe when the flash for the outside temp. module to read right comes out it may work as designed.

Re: CROWD PROJECT: Retrofitting "STOP" on the 2014 JGCs with ACC

This is some great stuff. Sounds very promising and the FPS project is one of great interest also. Glad to hear the dealer connection is good to inquire with Chrysler on this.

Re: CROWD PROJECT: Retrofitting "STOP" on the 2014 JGCs with ACC

Interesting theory, but I think you should shoot for perfect as designed. If the vehical does not come to a complete stop it may decide to throttle up or do something else crazy.
One thing of...

Re: 2014 Overland Quadra-lift not raising issue?

It actually does not raise to NRH. Indicator light on the buttons still flashing and the "raising" flashing on the info screen continue until I push the buttons.

2014 Overland Quadra-lift not raising issue?

Yes, you can disable them through the settings in uonnect however they only come on when the vehicle is in gear. Wish they stay on when the vehicle is running would be nice.
