Re: Clunks and thuds

I ignored mine for a long time. The clunking and the harsh thunk when I put it in drive. I was driving home one night and hit a large pothole, and I thought I had a flat tire for about 150 feet, but...

Re: Help - advice please! What is happening?

I had one of those hose "blowouts" last summer, about a mile from home luckily. I had a guy tailgating me so I took it up to 160kmh to shake him. Noticed a cloud of white smoke and people tuning on...

Re: Front diff mounts? Axle movement...

Removed the skid; the mount on the passenger side is totally destroyed. When you jack up the pumpkin, you can watch a lot of up and down movement on that mount. The front one seems good, not sure...

Re: Front diff mounts? Axle movement...

Interesting. I can only see the one passenger side mount without removing the front skid. The bolt is there but it looks like the rubber is shot, as it is quite sloppy. Maybe I will pull off the skid...

Front diff mounts? Axle movement...

Hit a pothole on the way home last night, and immediately afterwards I thought I had a flat tire, coasted a hundred feet and the noise went away.
Jacked up this morning, no damage that I can see....

Re: Noise coming from drivers side

I've experienced a similar noise twice in the past couple years. In both cases, the front wheel nuts were loose, causing slight front wheel wobble and a noticeable vibration at highway speeds. I had...

Re: Front sway bar links and bushings...

I'm in Canada, so our prices are likely higher than U.S. prices.

New brackets were $12.00 each, links were $24.00 each, bushings $29.00 each. All OEM Mopar parts.
