make sure to lube up your ball joints with a grease gun, I have had some that cured what I believe to be the same concern your dealing with, and I have had some that did not.

FWIW, I had 80k+ and LOTS of track passes and WOT shifts on the stock trans + snip (plus 50k non-snipped miles). I suspect towards the end it was starting to not bang shifts as hard at WOT, was...

Dave those are gen 1 or 2 I can't remember... Gen 3 utilize the stock bottom light sockets. That said Tony had these before his gen 3's, non ccfl but the led halo's, and then I bought them off him...

Also concerning water pumps look for one with a metal impeller like Cardone Select. Stock Mopar is plastic. My plastic one went out at 49k

A little tip Aaron. Water pump is a piece of cake but pull the alt. It's the only way to get it out once removed. Trust me Frango and I have tried. You'll see what we mean.
