They are just as durable as your vehicles finish. He actually showed me how they do it at the shop when I picked up. Once the dipping is done, it gets automotive clear.

Blackstone Labs. Check them out online. Basically, you can send them small samples of the engine oil (or trans oil if you want) and they will do an analysis on it and tell you the overall condition...

You will NOT regret it...you should probably just buy the large sheet of CF vinyl and bite the bullet. It's cheaper than going back and buying smaller pieces multiple times.
