Hi Frank the oil i used was 80/140 penrite which going by oil charts it was compatable so thay say, is there any other checks i could do to pin point the other ussues it maybe , regards peter ps...

Hi Frank , sorry i didnt explain that to well, i changed the radiator about 15,000ks ago but not the cap so i replaced the cap about a 1,000ks later,after checking what you said it was a dodgy...

Well it stays at the same speed, from what i read on here thay say "when the engine is started its doing around 500rpm at idle that as fast as i goes all the time, Regards pete.

Cheers guys for that i will try those options, to clarify the fan does the same speed while at idle with a/c on or off, if itry sand driving the temp gauge goes through the roof. regards pete.
