Re: Show & tell - wk2 photos off roading "proof"

Yes, 20" and 275/55 Wrangler Duratracs. I like those tires so far, they have 17K on them. The QL was set to ORA-I, and not to the highest setting of ORA-II.

Re: Show & tell - wk2 photos off roading "proof"

I went back to Hollister Hills last week with my nephew, he's 11. He took this 35-second video of a dirt/rock climb. You can hear him laugh as I bounced near a rock. (https://youtu.be/LSqxIUrdKC8) I...

I have no plate and no holes on the front and it looks very clean. I like it. Why don't you plug the holes and try to restore that clean look?

California requires a front plate. I'm hoping I never...

I dealt with 3-4 of them during my buy back, which all told took about 5 months. Most were good but one was very difficult. I had to repeatedly use the words 'systemic defect', and worked hard to...

Re: Here come the shifter lawsuits

Sign me up to be a witness for Jeep, as a customer who does not think the design is bad. I put 40,000+ miles on my 2014, and I miss not having that shifter on my 2016.

Anyone else willing to be a...

Yes, the US military trucks I used to drive had circular snorkel heads on them covered by a dome, bell shaped protector so that heavy rains would not enter - if memory serves, as I retired 23 years...

Re: Actor Anton Yelchin killed by Grand Cherokee in Neutral

I'm glad you and the kids are safe, dmb4040. The design is different, non-standard, and unique. I preferred it in my 2014 and wish it was in my 2016, because it takes up less space. But in 40,000...

Re: WK2 Rack Systems: Manufacturers List

Sorry, those are all I have. In the first pic if you zoom in on the near tower you may be able to see the cross bar end is 'dislocated' a little from where it joins the tower.

Nice pics, and nice rig! Thanks especially for the close-up of the tower. The failure I saw yesterday shouldn't happen with that design.

Re: 275-55-20 BFG T/A KO2 on stock rims

Bob, it comes down to, what is important to you? What do you want from your tires?

Some reasons to get the larger A/T 275/55-20s more off-road oriented tires:
- better off-road traction
-...

Re: What is the largest tire I can get on a WK2 Overland w/ 20" rims and QL? I really

The suspension bolt is normally not an issue. The tire and the linkages move as a unit. It may be a problem for snow tire chains, for example. But I have done plenty of trails and such, no problems....

Re: What is the largest tire I can get on a WK2 Overland w/ 20" rims and QL? I really

If too many details here, just ignore and use only the info you need.

It's all about OD (O.D., outside diameter) and relative rates of tire spin.

The spare tire's width is not important in this...
