Re: Best brake Pads for my Wk??

OP asked for input. Apparently, there are several acceptable replacements. It's nice to have the choice. Recall that exact OEM front pads are about $160.

OEM original front brake pads (not MOPAR...

It will fit. I have an '08 also.

I have it on with an 6" long clear hose that tucks up under the splash pan. You can drain the 7 qts. of used oil directly into 2 milk jugs (gallon size). Easy...

Go to advance Auto in your area. They will let you use theirs free. Write down code, then use the device to clear it.

Works on my '08 also. However, only top level codes show up. Takes a more sophisiticated reader to get to the lower levels of DTC's.

Re: Transfer case fluid

IIRC, there was an error in some of the earlier WK owner's manuals. Yours could be one of them. QT-II and QD-II take the MOPAR NV245/247 Transfer Case Fluid. Takes 2 quarts. Used to be every 30K...

Re: How-To: Rear Brake Pad Job for WK Jeeps

With the traction control features, the rears wear out first now. This was confirmed by a local Jeep offroad shop specialist.

Happy with Raybestos Advanced Technology rotors on the rear.
