Re: 2015 JGC Ecodiesel Towing capability

What's does it weigh (loaded)? How much do you plan to trailer?

Many trailers have Surge Brakes which can work quite well too and less involved hookup wise. They are completely hydraulic so it's...

Re: Share your tricks to deal with Stiching Reflected on Windshield

I might just try something like that to see if it feels different.
It's only really noticeable on sunny days.

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee Using oil ?

Face it, everyone is gonna do their own thing.

I never take the factory oil out less than 5K. It's still half the recommended length of time.

Re: Share your tricks to deal with Stiching Reflected on Windshield

I "tune it out" too. But what's the impact on your "view".
What if say a child on bike was in that area of your windshield.
Would they get "tuned" out with the stitch?

I tune out dirt on the...

Re: Does 8.4AN on 2015 need Nav activation

I'm not disagreeing with you that Factory 8.4AN is the way to go.

But what "features" are limited due to internal drive size?

I don't think the internal drive size is that big a deal. Space...

Re: Does 8.4AN on 2015 need Nav activation

You're not missing much with the Traffic thingy and it's part of the Sirius XM. I found it utterly useless. And requires the Sirius subscription to continue it.

Re: 2015 Grand Cherokee Speed warning.

I have mine set to 14mph. I love this feature. It's pretty reliable.
It has a pleasant voice too.

By the way.

The Warning Volume is the same as NAV Volume.

You can set the Volume Offset...

Re: Problems to look for when buying a used 2014 Overland

It was probably just that you flashed it again that it fixed it.

I never had the issue and flashed mine probably 4 times or so.

Yes, and it's annoying, isn't it. Who wants to stare at the blank phone screen. I like how the Seat controls window automatically closes. The Phone should work the same way. It should be a "Pop Up...

Re: Problems to look for when buying a used 2014 Overland

Good point on getting one young enough to add Factory Warranties.

The XMAS tree problem was due to a Faulty ABS Module in early 2013 Models. Early on, that was the fix to replace the ABS Module....

Re: How to activate ACC properly?

That's why I was asking. Wasn't sure if there was a setting.

I guess they are worried you'll forget you had it on.

I'm sure there is a setting. It's just matter of who has access to it :)

Wow, quick thinking, I'm impressed.

But how the heck could you do that so fast?

I would make Jeep/Dealer cover everything. Your insurance should not have to cover this.

I understand that. But I thought ACC should work in "Stop & Go" traffic which was the point of ACC Full Stop.

It seems to Cancel after it's been Stopped for a few seconds.

Which can make Phones (which I frequently have mounted) and LCD screens harder to read. I'd rather have the stitch reflection.

I might take a black sharpie to the Stitching.
