Re: Seat back plastics separating

Well, I guess then you could consider anything a "wear item". It is never a good idea to try to fix that stuff yourself, then try to get is covered by warranty. Once you mess with it, you own it. ...

Re: Have the 2014+ 5.7's shifting improved with latest flash?

I don't recall many/any people complaining about transmission issues on the 8HP70 used in the V8s and Diesels. I know our transmission has been smooth and faultless in the 12k we've owned it. The...

Re: No love for diesels in UK and France.

Literally cough.... cough... I remember Paris in 1990 and cities in Germany where I was working were pretty stinky with vehicle exhaust, way worse than US cities at the time I thought. Back then...

Re: Painting Overland mudflaps?

After last winter, I found the worst areas were the rockers and the rear doors. I was really surprised at how badly the rear doors got chipped up. The pieces of clear that were put on the rear...

Re: Painting Overland mudflaps?

Well, I did it. I painted the mudflaps for our '14 Overland. I do like the results.

After pricing paint from local paint suppliers in the smallest amount they would sell (1pt of paint,...

Re: Pixel on dash

So how long did it take to have the dash replaced? My dealer said it would have to be in for a week while the dash was ordered. It is an annoying problem, but not as annoying as having to deal with...

Re: Power Folding Mirrors - How Many Time?

Someone will find some reason that it MUST fold seven times. Then others will discover that they too must fold the mirrors seven times. One owner who just can't stand it anymore take will take it...

Re: Qudra lift air suspension...?

If you look through this site, you will see VERY few people complaining about the QL system. As far as air suspensions go, this one seems to be very well engineered. I really like the ride quality....

Sounds like a classic dealer add on. Perhaps a basic clear bra. Have them clarify. No, you do not have to buy this, just like any of the options. If it didn't come from the factory with it and you...

Re: Aero mode even with ECO off?

Yup, either way you will give up something. Too high at speed also makes for a tippy vehicle. Too low can have you bottoming out and damaging expensive bits. A "mod" that makes your car look cool...

Re: Aero mode even with ECO off?

The way these systems are designed, there are no signals that you can easily manipulate to change ride height outside the programmed parameters without causing problems. In the best case, you end up...

Re: Help decide 2014 GC Laredo w/All Weather vs. 2014 GC Limited with Nav

I would suggest driving all three engine choices. The '14 V6 is as fast or faster than the '11 to '13 Hemi because of the transmission. It is significantly less expensive than the Hemi or Diesel,...

Re: How deep in my Jeep!

The depth at which you kill the vehicle is not easy to determine. Sucking water in the intake will kill it quickly, flooding the electronics will kill it slowly.

I once saw a guy destroy a 3 day...
