Re: Raising an SRT WK2?

I doubt you'd be able to fit anything very much over a 32" tire on the SRT honestly. Standard WK2s with the highest lift (2" max) are barely able to fit 33" tires without some pinch weld folding and...

Re: Wheels, tires, lift kit for new Altitude

That may not be the definitive answer though.

I have the factory tow package and no HD brakes.

Re: Wheels, tires, lift kit for new Altitude

As you already mentioned, I bet the rubbing issues he's having is mostly due to the low wheel offset.

And yes, you can fit 17" wheels on your Altitude. The Altitude is just a Laredo with a few...

Re: Wheel/tire fit for 2015 Overland

In my opinion, you'd be wasting money on anything dedicated for winter use that isn't a winter designed tire. The Blizzaks I have actually have a deeper tread depth than the Forteras that the Jeep...

Re: To my photoshop people :)

No problem at all!

I've gotten so used to doing quick mock ups with Photoshop lately, it takes no time at all for a rough edit.
(*Not an open call for psd requests, lol!)

Glad it helps.

This idea ^ :p

So tempting. The 285 is perfect look-wise.

Re: stock 17" Laredo wheel

Nice. The little bit of rake or rake as it is now looks so much better to me than completely level or the apperance of a little rear sag. It looks good.

Not sure I'd be down to zip tie pieces of...

I just saw a guy roll his car yesterday going through a "puddle" too fast. He didn't look like he was too stoked with the results, as well as the people he ran into.

Re: stock 17" Laredo wheel

If you didn't have those spacers, I bet you'd be fine. But because of them changing the offset so much, I doubt you will be able to fit 265's. I know I tried fitting 265/70's on mine after I got my...

Going fast through puddles and ones that you have no idea how deep they are...sounds like a great idea.

They actually just made a new one, with a naturally aspirated engine this time. Worth watching.

Re: 2014 jeep wk2 RRO front end pictures?

Oy. I don't like all this discussion with the poor quality of the RRO products.

So much for having a reliable part manufacturer for our WK2s. They're one of the few who even make anything, so...

Re: Calendar for 2015

Erm, it's just a fact, MD. You can not argue all day, but you're still wrong if you think it's not reducing quality.

Re: What did you do to your WK2 today?

Good to hear. I've had my eye on those for quite a while and have been eager to hear other's reviews of them.

Also looking at getting the same size most likely, because they're C load.

Nice! The Gobi rack is so nice. It's on my never ending wishlist for sure.

How do you like the ST Maxx's on and off road? And what size are you running?

Re: Calendar for 2015

Definitely. As long as it won't get too pixelated when printed. I could only get it to 72dpi because it was taken with my phone. :/

Here's a favorite of mine. It will be a year exactly as of tomorrow it was taken.

This was a few months into ownership and the day after I got the Blizzaks on.
