Re: 2014 rear factory sub

Doesn't the Summit have a better sound system than the Overland.

I have the bass lowered in the equalizer as it's kind of muddy on most of my MP3 files which is probably due to the compression of...

Re: Jeep may become a VW

Jeep used to be partially-owned by Renault back in the '80s. I used to get my 1986 Renault Alliance serviced at the local Chrysler/Jeep dealer.

Re: Grand Cherokee Makes Top 10 Stolen Crossovers & SUVs

The article says the Ford Exploder has the best in class 350 lb-ft of torque. I guess the WK2 isn't in same class since the 5.7 Hemi and ecodiesel have more torque. :)

Re: ProTrim Windshield Sunshade Review & Pics

My old sunshade from nflshop.com doesn't fit our WK2 so I'm going to buy one of these. It's expensive, but still only about 1/2 the price of the MOPAR shade.

Re: 2012 Grand Jeep Cherokee or 2014 Wrangler 4 door

Wrangle Pros:
It's fun to drive with the top off
Great off-road capability

Cons:
Poor road handling
It can be noisy although a hard top is probably better than the soft top.

I don't have any complaints.

You might want to post this question in the main WK2 forum since I'm guessing many people don't read this area if they have a gasser.

My oveerland has the 18" wheels and didn't come with any locking lugnuts. I don't think I'll need them either since they are generally less desirable than the 20" wheels.

Same here. We placed our order in mid-September and it didn't arrive at the dealer until December 26th due to the delay in getting the DPF tanks installed.

Re: Should I use REC 90 gas in my V8?

Is the Rec-90 taxed like regular gas? I'm just asking because one location at my biodiesel supplier also sells B100 for off-road use only which doesn't have any gas tax and it has the pink dye.

Re: Towing 3,000 lb trailer without trailer brakes?

I was surprised the owners manual had the 1,000 lb limit, but that might make sense since the sticker on the door of my 2014 lists a maximum of 1,050 lbs for passengers and cargo.

Re: Does the DPF regen system make Diesel unusable as a full time work vehicle?

Our 2008 CRD also had a DPF and it never caused any problems over 120,000 + miles. Every once in a while you might notice funny smell if the regen is still running when you are idling.
