Re: Michigan Meet?

XceedSpeed (http://www.xceedspeed.com/forums/showthread.php?t=225374)

This meet is normally pretty big, and very well established. I went to them from 03-06, usually a REALLY big turnout of cars....

Re: 18" Sahara rims on 2004 Grand Cherokee Special Edition

I know this is old, but most people that put these on WJ's run a 255/55/18; lots of options from tirerack. I personally(see sig) ran a 245/55/18 BFG that sucked. I liked the smaller dimension, gave...

Re: Anybody put a C.A.I in their 2002 Grand Cherokee 4.7 H.O. Or any jeep in general?

I ran an ebay special on mine... mounting was non-existant. I would've rather fabbed up a 4" intake and put a nice K&N w/ velocity stack on it, then build a heat shield. I doubt the ebay special...

Re: 45RFE to 545RFE flash question

I run a Sonnax LB2 line pressure booster with my Trans Go HD2. Works great, install was super easy. I plan on doing the reflash to a 545RFE soon, since my plan is to go with 4.56's, the 5th gear will...

Re: Gen 1 4.7 (99-07) Manifold Porting Feeler/Discussion

You're really starting to convince me to pick up a spare manifold and start playing around with it. If all else fails, I'd be out about $100.

Re: What are you doing to your WJ next?

Fixing this damn wheel bearing noise, getting a couple TSB's done by my buddy who works at a Jeep dealership, and then starting to draft up the exhaust. Been reading up a ton on no-loss quiet-ish...

Re: Need help on selecting the rim for '00 WJ

Just get JK 18's. You can get a whole set without tires for under $300 if you scour CL.

18x7.5 45mm

I run 245/55/18 on mine, speedo's dead on. Thought about stepping up to a different size, but...

Re: Torque Wire Snip

When I did mine('99 4.7), it would send it into transmission limp mode 80% of the time. I've read this only affects '99's, so it might not happen to you. I just reconnected the wire and was back to...

Doing any runner length mods? I almost pulled the trigger on an early non H.O. manifold a couple weeks ago to play with it. Take pictures please!

Re: What is your favorite Muffler/Exhaust Manufacturer?

I had a cherry bomb pro chambered installed on my WJ, and I love it. Not too loud, no drone, and can barely hear it at cruising speed.

Re: Best Generation Grand Cherokee Relative to its Era

wj's are definitely where it's at. Zj's are great, but too all over the place inside, too rough around the edges and lack refinement. I worked at a Jeep dealer in 03/04/05, and we loved the WJ's; we...

Re: 1999 grand cherokee 4x4

Turn the wheel left to right, if it changes pitch in a certain direction, it's probably a wheel bearing.

4.2 crank+rods won't necessarily gain you anything. Remember this: power is made in the head. With the intake and exhaust on the same side with the 4.0, you really can't gain a ton with the airflow...

18x9.5/265's?

Re: problems filling fuel tank

Mine does this sometimes. I learned that if I bring the nozzle out of the fill tube by about a half inch or so, it'll fill up like normal. Seems to only happen at pumps with older nozzles.

Re: De-roof racked and painted JK 18's

Nope, I'm actually running a 28.5" tall tire. 245/55/18 BFG Radial T/A Spec. It's the stock tire for 18" wheels on new Camaro's. They're not bad, a bit flexy for my tastes, but they're cheap($80) and...

I need to seal those holes in a bad way. I threw tape over them for the time being, but found there was a crapton of water coming in after the rains this weekend in Denver.

Here's a few more...
