Re: P0750 trouble code

Sometimes a bad electrical contact in the large connector on the left side of the transmission can give problems as you have. I would at least check this connector and use some electrical contact...

Re: Intermittent Blower Failure

This should be two separate issues. The blower motor is completely electrical and the mode door actuator is vacuum controlled.
By the way, the link you posted on the blower motor replacement is not...

Re: 2002 Jeep Liberty 3.7

Does a 2002 Liberty has brake assist? It has ABS and the electrical rear brake function.
The ABS can bleed away the brake pressure for each wheel, to prevent wheel slip, but it will not add any...

Re: Intermittent Blower Failure

If you look up in the passengers foot well, you can see the resistor and besides it the blower motor. The motor is fixed with 3 screws. Just wiggle all visible wires and see what happens.
If the...

Re: 2002 Jeep GCL--self codes??

Yes, the so called key dance should work on your jeep. Switch the ignition three times from off to on and leave it in on after the third time; the odometer should show "DONE" when no faults present,...

Re: Intermittent Blower Failure

The blower motor sits right next to the resistor or controller (resistor is for manual AC, controller is for automatic AC system), so the connector can be found on the blower motor itself.
Since...

Re: 2002 Jeep Liberty 3.7

I can be wrong, but the electric brake is a system which only works on the rear wheels and which uses the ABS sensors and valves to prevent rear wheel lock-up, as previously the mechanical...

Re: Intermittent Blower Failure

Most of the time the problem is a melted connector on the blower motor controller, but you changed that one already and would have seen the melted connector. When it fails again, i would try and...

Re: 2002 Jeep Liberty 3.7

If the brake pedal becomes hard, it would be because the vacuum assistance is not working. With the engine off, there should normally be vacuum for three assisted brake applications. Can be that...

Hmm, did you get a misfire code for the #5 plug? And a lean code now as well. Do you have a scanner with live data? Would be good to check your fuel trim figures. Eventhough i told before that the...

Re: 2002 Jeep Liberty 3.7

Welcome to the garage.
Not familiar with the Liberty, but i presume that it also uses a PCI data bus, as the WJ does. Any component shorting out on this bus, can bring the bus voltage down and...

Re: Cranks but won't start

I presume that you first checked the respective fuses to be ok? The auto shut down relay should be ok, otherwise you also wouldn´t have fuel. Did you check the coil?

Re: Rough Idle & Stumbling

A weak coil itself will not throw a code, but as soon as it starts misfiring, you will get a P030X code (X = cylinder).
Did you check for any vacuum leak at the intake? Maybe a disconnected hose or...

Re: New engine? What????

Can you see where the coolant is...

Re: New engine? What????

You will need to know what happened to the engine and what damage is caused. Sometimes a small failure can result in subsequent damage. Maybe you can go to an other place to get a second opinion...

Re: Ac problems

The low side pressure is a bit at the low side. Normally it should be between the 35 and 40 psi. This could well be a problem with a too low charge.

Did you check the fuel pressure already? A too low pressure will reduce the amount of injected fuel. This can go that low that the mixture will not ignite anymore.
Did you disconnect the upper O2...

I would say that the pressure transducer is not working. Depending on the pressure measured by this sensor, the PCM will command the compressor on or off.
