You can do it with the Michelins. Some portions can have a lot of sand, but its dry sand, where if you take an inflator and drop a few pounds you might feel more...

If that is the case, that sounds more like a transmission/torque convertor problem... but try to find a non-chain specialist to check it out.

Agreed. I'd check into a RAM 1500 or bigger or get a smaller trailer unless that thing has room for way more clutches and parts...

I would expect the constant transition from aero to normal on higher speed commutes with stoplights/signs to cause more wear on the suspension since that happens far more often. No issues with that...
