We are in the Coeur d'Alene Idaho area on Interstate 90 along your route to Seattle about 250 miles east. Just had the oil changed for the second time today at Findlay Jeep, which is 2 minutes off...

Re: Anyone know what dealership in the US

Dave Smith, in Kellogg, Idaho is about 45 minutes from my house. When I bought my 2014 Limited with Lux II I wanted the tan leather interior. Every single one of the WK2s Dave Smith had in stock...

Re: Consumer Reports

I subscribe to CR and use them as a guide for a lot of major purchases. But obviously I did not pay attention to their sour attitude about Jeep products when I bought my 2014 JGC Limited. I was...

Re: 2014/2015 Brown/light Frost Interior Owners

We have stock black mats from Jeep, which were thrown in with our vehicle and which we like. We are in snow country.

Do a search and you will likely find multiple threads already put up on this...

We let the Sirius trial expire for a few days. Prior to the expiration Sirius called and would not move much. It is a different ballgame once you've let it expire for even a few days.

I just...

Re: Issue free

2014 GC, July 2013 build, bought in November 2013, 9000 miles and zero problems other than the brake booster recall.

Sorry to disappoint the original poster.

Re: Might need to Sell my Jeep Quickly

Go to dealers, get a few quotes on what they would buy the car for. Do research on KBB, Edmunds, etc., as to what you could realistically get in a private party sale. It will be higher. Put the...

Re: Owners: Would you buy your Grand Cherokee again?

2014 Limited bought Nov 2013 built July 2013. 8000 miles on it and not a damn thing wrong. This Jeep replaced our 1007 Grand with 182K miles on it. Still running good when we sold it.

Re: Shifting to Sport Mode while moving

Changing into sport mode simply alters the shifting algorithm. It's not like you are changing any kind of mechanical linkage while at speed.

I generally drive in ECO mode, but when I need to...

Re: Extended warranty 100,000

Don't know your location but if you are in the US you are getting ripped off. I got Lifetime Max Care $100 deductible from Zeigler for $2135 earlier this year.

Re: If you were to give up your GC today, what would you get?

Acura RDX. It was our second choice to the Jeep. Audis SUVs are nice as well. But we are totally satisfied with our 2014 GC (which replaced our 1997 GC) so the question is moot.

Re: A 1200 mile round trip to North Carolina with a cool "adventure" story

Glad everything turned out OK for you.

I used to work for a company based in New Bern. Nice, quiet town and fun to visit. I probably went there 3-4 times.

Re: $50k+ is a lot of money for a new vehicle...

First off, order a Limited with Lux II, Tow IV, 8.4 w/Nav and 20" wheels and you will almost have an Overland. That's what we did. And if you negotiate it will be around $40-41K and not $50K. ...

Paulee, the guy that does the warranty stuff for Ziegler is Bob Cline. If you ask him nice he might just give you a code for an extra discount.

Re: Does Anyone Else Hate The USB Port, SD Slot and Cig Plugs Location?

Those connections are a little bit deeply recessed in the 2014 making it a minor PITA to connect, but there could be worse problems. Not a huge deal for me.
