Re: What Tire Pressures Do You Run?

There is a pressure sensor and a battery in the valve stem assembly.
The batteries seem to have a pretty good lifetime.

They seem surprisingly accurate, at least mine do, compared to two...

Re: roll away

That model 8 speed isn't used in the GC, IIRC, on the V6?

It would be interesting that it would break an output shaft on light passenger vehicles, but not on an SUV that would be presumed to get...

Re: Grand Cherokee under investigation

I don't recall if the current gear is the default in the EVIC. Dimly recall it wasn't.
That is easier to see than glancing down at the shifter, as the indicators on the shifter are almost as bad...

Re: roll away

It is a tad tricky to hit park sometimes. But I never leave the vehicle with the engine running so I usually catch it, and tend to use the parking brake as advised.

Hopefully we won't be...

Re: Cooled Front Driver Seat

Doesn't it actually pick up air from just behind the seat to blow up on you?

Some fabrics block more of the flow than others... and on a hot day it can take a bit for your A/C to cool down cabin...

Is there a small hole on the front of the player?

Re: GJC summit 2015 Hemi V8 Gasoline gets hot after 15 minutes idle is it normal

You should be able to easily see thru the oil--it should not be murky.
It tends to look more like caramel than milk... or coffee with a small amount of cream in it.

Re: jacking wk2

Go for a high lift suv model rather than just any old jack. Sears sells them, a few others do.

Then, pick up a couple hockey pucks and use them between the jack and your vehicle.

I would think puce would be the perfect color for someone who wants to paint calipers in this day and age.

However, a flat cast iron look very dark gray or black might not be too bad.

I'd still wait and see what dealer says, as you can always just offer to pay.

They MAY know a wheel repair place that could pretty up the damage and add protective coating to the metal.
