Re: Remaining 2014 Model Year dealer discount

Hang on, looking at my paperwork again, the vehicle was 51k, then diesel incentive of $1500 and a returning leave of $1k. Sorry, it was late and I forgot how I got to ~10%

I know it's not a...

Re: From the horses mouth on the Harman Kardon System

Yeah a 3 band eq with no sub control is a joke. Bass management is probably the holy grail for sound quality. Why our "premium" system has such weird bass characteristics escapes me

Re: Remaining 2014 Model Year dealer discount

No, I meant invoice. "Invoice" is a false "starting" point. This is not the true cost of the vehicle to the dealership. Yes I employed discounts, rebates, promotions, haggling techniques. In the...

Re: From the horses mouth on the Harman Kardon System

My opinion of the HK system is that it's just unbalanced. There is no smooth transition between the highs, mids, and low, and sub. My biggest gripe is how boomy the bass gets without a linear...

Re: Remaining 2014 Model Year dealer discount

10% below invoice is what I shot for. but yes getting there right before end of month is a good motivator if the dealership is behind on their 'numbers' and they care more about pushing a unit out...

Re: 14.32.2 UConnect US Only

yes, even if you have the file and your vehicle is not a MY15, don't bother installing it. The update will check for your MY and if it is not a MY15 then it will abort the upgrade.

Re: Backup camera too bright?

nope, I've noticed the same thing. the backup camera from my MY11 was better. Now it looks like they bumped up the brightness too high and didn't adjust for contrast.

damnit, I was just at the dealership yesterday asking about this exact problem and they said it's 'normal'. back to the dealer I go. Thanks for the update!

14.32.2 UConnect US Only

So while on the phone with customer service about the 14.25 update an update got posted while on our phonecall. It's so fresh, that when I try to download it, it's coming back with "file not found"...

Re: Scanguage2 XGuage codes for EGT

Re: What does your dealer charge for an oil change?

My dealer quoted $150 saying that the bulk of the cost is in the oil. Filter itself is also $50.

Can anyone else confirm / deny those numbers?

Re: 20" Nitto Terra Grapplers

You'll notice that the Nittos are completely fine because for some reason even with the same "numbers" the OD is just a hair smaller than others. Others will work, but YMMV

Re: 20" Nitto Terra Grapplers

This setup has been tried and true. It simply works, it's the largest size you can fit without modification to wheel spacing or fenders. I also have QL and it's perfectly fine in Park Mode
