Replacement lug nuts?

Any one know of a replacement one piece lug nut for the crappy two piece style on our WJ's? I'm tired of breaking off the outer covers. Who was the genius that came up with that design?

It seems to shift a little hard into second gear and only second gear.
Those times when I really feel the clunk, is it taking off in second...

Re: Clunk in Rear Differential

My clunk seems to be happening more and more. I'll try shifting it into neutral right before I stop to see if I get the same results.
Thanks for the update.

I'm starting to get a clunking noise which I think is identical to what you're experiencing. I'm hoping that low transfer case fluid was the...

Just did as you both suggested and all is good -no bubbles and the level is right on the money.
It even says so right there on the dip stick - check in neutral.
I never did like reading...

Just checked tranny fluid - uh oh.

I've had my '04 for about 5 months now. 92,000 miles on it.
I just checked the tranny fluid for the second time (I checked it when I picked it up to make sure the level was correct) and the fluid is...

Trouble getting it into 4WD

It was snowing when I left work, so as soon as I got into my Jeep, I put it into full time 4WD (Selec Trac Tranny). It didn't go in so I slowed, braked, sped up and still no go. Sometimes it takes a...

Re: New( er) jeep?

Since you already know what you've replaced and already fixed on your current WJ, and you don't know what you would be getting into with a newer Jeep, whatever the model, I say keep it.
I had an XJ...

Re: K&N Filter Not fitting

I don't think you can make it fit.
I would check with the manufacture that you bought it from because to me, it's just the wrong size for this application.

Today's accomplishments

New Bilsteins all around. A big difference from the OEM's with 90K on them.
No more juddering (I don't think this is a real word, but you know what I mean) over bumps. Much, much better.
Also new...

Re: What differential lube to use

Re: Bilstein 4600s the same as HD's?

Yes, I understand that from reading the various threads.
But my question really is, are the 4600's the same as the HD's sold on the Shock Warehouse web site?

Bilstein 4600s the same as HD's?
