255 bhp with approx upwards of 440 foot lbs torque.
More importantly it also disables the egr and swirl motor, both of which are expensive fail points.

Yes. My lights and wipers would turn themselves on even if I wasn't in the Jeep and wouldn't turn off no matter what u did with the controls. It even wouldn't always let me in with the key fob either.

Re: Are our jeeps crossovers?

Well monocoque/unibody seems to be generally interchangeable rightly or wrongly, but the majority of people wouldn't consider a 2.5 tonne off roader as being a 'crossover' in comparison to vehicles...

Re: Moving to FL, do i really need 4wd ?

Really ..... For a 2mpg gain you want to lose a vehicle you know and have spent cash on maintaining. Doesn't sound sensible to me!

Re: Are our jeeps crossovers?

Re: Black oil

Black oil is normal due to the EGR routing exhaust back into the engine and the low ash oil is designed to keep the soot suspended in the oil, instead of clogging up the engine.

Perhaps your...

Re: Mystery Problem with Warning Lights/Tachometer

Re: 2005 GC 3.0L crd oil leak

Change to the black seal and mop up, but your swirl motor will probably been contaminated and increases the odds on it failing later, but a cheap fix exists if you search "swirl"

Re: Cant fix dash lights, garage offering to buy back the Commander

I'm not sure its a deal breaker, and with the new EGR it goes like a stabbed rat and EVIC reported over 30mpg over a 17 mile drive, was only getting 25 before.
