Re: Grand Cherokee refresh delayed till 2018

I think instead of "refresh" you mean to say "complete redesign" or "next generation". Had me confused about the refreshed 2016 due in November.

Re: 2015 JGC Color Help

I'd say go Back in Black. I wish it was Black Clear Coat too, but Brilliant Black is the best choice of the colors available.

Re: Altitude III in person, and a few questions

The V6 has electric steering. The V8 does not. So there is more "feel" with the V8 which is a good thing.

Re: Hmm....50K...already

I bought my 2012 Overland 4x4 Hemi in October of 2011. It's been 3.5 years. 39,000 miles. KBB says private party price is $34,000+. That is absolutely wonderful value it has held!

Re: Removing wheels with QL

I find detailing in park mode (with the wheels on) the best position for detailing so you can reach the roof. As for pulling the wheels, off road 1 height works best for jacking it up at least for...

Re: "Grand Cherokee" door lettering

I have heard using an eraser wheel causes scratches. That's what a really good body shop owner told me.

Don't use goo gone; it doesn't help much and makes a mess. It actually makes it harder. ...

Re: 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee Altitude III

Re: Why are the Altitude's so popular?

No worries. I have a 2012 Overland with black grill, JEEP hood emblem, mirror caps, and rear brow, and removed chrome side strips, that isn't going anywhere.

Re: Why are the Altitude's so popular?

Because that's not an option, I won't be buying another Jeep Grand Cherokee for a long time. If it was an option, I would order one immediately.

Re: 2015 Grand Cherokee - V-8 Or V-6 ??

I have a 2012 Overland V8 Hemi. My parents have a 2014 Limited V6.
The gas mileage difference is significant, but I drive mine like a sports car most of the time. Only getting 13 mpg on average...

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee Using oil ?

I had to add 1.5 quarts of oil to my 5.7L V8 yesterday after 5,000 miles and I put in 7.5 quarts 5000 miles ago. So 9 quarts in 5000 miles for an engine that calls for 7 quarts (different than the...

Re: 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee Altitude III

They really need to go with Black tail light bezels instead of gray, at least on the Brilliant Black Altitude III. Black grill honeycomb mesh insert and black lug nuts would be nice too.

Re: Need advice from experience Jeep Owners

If mpg doesn't bother you, and if within your budget, I don't see how anyone would not be very very happy with an Overland 4x4 with 5.7L V8 Hemi.
