Re: WK2 DownUnder

My factory ordered SRT had 33 km on pick up. Did do a trip to get window tint and detailed. Think it had 17km on it when it was unloaded of the car carrier

Re: JEEP customer satisfaction..

That explains why I get the feeling I've been screwed when I visit the dealer to deal with defects, recalls and poor build quality

Re: Sydney SRT Club

I've towed a car float and car weighing around 2000kg.
Be mindful the approved towing weight for the SRT is around 2900 kg. Also, be mindful of the MOPAR tow bar and hitch. The factory tow bar is...

Re: Sydney SRT Club

Don't think that would comply with Aussie design rules.
Whole idea of parking lights is to provide a visual reference when stationary without blinding oncoming traffic with headlights

They work as expected when the ignition is off, but if the engines running don't operate.
Have spoken to my dealer service manager and thinks the headlights switch is...

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee information - Australia

Agree, Chrysler may produce a comparatively quality product in the U.S. Market, but they've got work to do here in Australia!

Re: Paint Shortage?!?

I've got the DCR SRT and love it.
In Aussie there aren't many around making it that little bit more unique.
As above, when its clean and the sun is shining it looks great and turns a lot of heads

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee information - Australia

I understand the windscreens in the higher spec ( overland, Summit, SRT) are different.
Might be something to do with the adaptive cruise and collision avoidance systems

I don't believe the car monitors the condition of the oil.
I have had two oil changes at non service intervals in the first 10,000 km and mine reads 16%
I'm guessing the dealer forget to reset it
